Anchor Windlass Servicing

How many times do you ask yourself the following questions?  Have I got enough anchor chain?  Do I have enough rope attached to the anchor chain?  Is it attached to the boat?  How much chain have I put out?  What depth of water am I in?  What is the tide doing, is it rising or falling? 

In my experience all those points are thought about but never checked frequently enough.  With our anchor windlass servicing a seasonal checking of the anchor windlass and visual inspection of chain and rope would be recommended and a service we offer.
